BC Court case seeks to legalize Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide

EPC Media Release

The Carter vs. Attorney General of Canada (Carter case) will begin to be heard on Monday, November 14, 2011 in a Vancouver court.

The Euthanasia Prevention Coalition (EPC) and EPC – BC have intervener standing in the Carter case.

EPC – BC is organizing a demonstration on the steps of the Vancouver courthouse from 9:30 am – 10:30 am on November 14.

EPC – BC chair, Dr Will Johnston states:
“I see elder abuse in my practice, often perpetrated by family members and caregivers. A desire for money or an inheritance is typical. To make it worse, the victims protect the abusers. In one case, an older woman knew that her son was robbing her blind and lied to protect him. Why? Family loyalty, shame, and fear that confronting the abuser will cost love and care.”
“Under current law, abusers take their victims to the bank and to the lawyer for a new will. With legal assisted suicide, the next stop would be the doctor’s office for a lethal prescription. How are we going to detect victimization when we can’t do it now?”
EPC legal counsel, Hugh Scher notes:
“Concerns about safety, security and equality of people with disabilities and seniors will be central to the arguments advanced by EPC before the court, as will concerns about medical ethics and the proposed change in the doctor-patient relationship.”
EPC executive director, Alex Schadenberg states:
“The issue was debated last year in parliament and consistent with the earlier Senate Committee reports, parliament defeated Bill C-384, a bill that would have legalized euthanasia and assisted suicide in Canada, overwhelmingly by a vote of 228 to 59.

I assume the person putting this blog believes in assisted suicide. But because I do not know you, I will say, that I believe the bible.
God is the giver of life, and the only One Who brings us to death, to heaven or to hell. I would not assist anyone wanting to die. In their last moments they may regret suicide and find themselves in another place, that is not heaven.
Also the bible says "Thou shall not kill. We are not the author of life and death, only God the Son, is the author. I leave this totally in my Saviour's hand. He will come for me the day I am to go whether in a coma or aware state. Jesus is our Saviour for eternity, and that is an amazing joy to think of being with Him, and all those we love for an eternity. N. Benett

ALEX SCHADENBERG: BC Court case seeks to legalize Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide

Canada has been the role-model to the world, that End-of-Life Care is not Legalized Murder. Please support the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition to continue representing Canadian Citizens, and to expose the LIES and FEAR-MONGERING advertising carried out by the (un)Compassion and (elimination of) Choices network.

The DEATH CULT is becoming a CORPORATE POWER with alot of big $$$$$$$$$.$$ to scare populations around the world, with Fabian methods of indoctrination. The Fabian Society brings about their policies by slowly, over a period of time, effectively forcing the change they want in how people think.--Mind-control!

The CORPORATE DEATH-CULT are all hyper, that after twenty years the country should think differently. Well, I don't think they should think differently. Murder is still murder, even though the death marketeers want Canadians to think differently, so they can see their profits sky-rocket.

The reason many Canadians believe that legalized euthanasia/assisted-suicide is a person's own choice, is because they refuse to believe that "experts" and "authorities" would lie to their audiences. The top LIARS and DECEIVERS have the most cash-flow, which gets them prime-time audiences and readers throughout the mainstream-media.

If the Duty-to-Die umbrella of organizations had real compassion for the people who do suffer, they would fore-warn their customers of the botched-suicides. They would feel shame and guilt for all their dead customers, whose autopsies showed that they were not terminally-ill, and could have been treated with pain-management.

Please help the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition to win this case against changing Canada's Criminal-Code.

Saw this elder abuse and controlling cruel behaviour a few years ago. The son eventually whacked his Mother on the head..she was bedridden and didn't fall. He tried to prevent me and her great grandchild from seeing her.
If Euthanasia was legal then..he could legally murder her.
Removing ventilators and IV's is one thing..administering poisonous overdoses is another.
